Potions
All healing potions restore the maximum amount.
Knocked unconscious and Death Saving Throws
Being knocked to 0 HP adds 1 point of exhaustion if a PC fails a CON SAVE DC 10.
All death saves are rolled privately and blindly to the GM, for dramatic and anti-metagaming purposes.
Flanking
Flanking gives an advantage on the attack rolls.
Swift Action
With a swift action, you can swap your weapons or make a swift skill check, such as determining an enemy’s weakness/intentions (not unlocking an intricate lock).
Sprint Action
As an action, you can sprint in a straight line only, multiplying your movement by 5.
Spells
Silvery Barbs no longer works on saving throws.
The GM retains the ability to veto or modify how certain spells work if needed, as well as having the final say in the ruling.
Multiclassing
Multiclass to 2 total classes maximum.
Scrolls
Any PC can use scrolls with an Arcana check (DC is 10+ the spell level)
Reviving
We are using Matt Mercer’s rules for character resurrection. The rules are harder and emotional, involving other characters with a chance that reviving fails, and the soul is lost forever.
War Caster Feat & Opportunity Attacks
When an ally provokes an opportunity attack from a character with the War Caster feat, that character can use their reaction to cast a spell that aids or benefits the ally instead of attacking them.
Stunned [Condition]
A stunned creature’s Speed is 0, in addition to the other effects of the condition.
Spell Components and Ammunition
We only keep track of magical ammunition (with an effect or having +1, +2, and +3) and the spell components that have a GP price attached to them. Everything else is considered part of the character.
